Granted, it is supposed to be 80 here at work at 75 on the beach at home, but still. It’s MAUI.
What I Wore: Closet Essentials
There are a few things in my closet that are absolute go to pieces. I could never live without colorful tops, my navy riding jacket from when I was ten (eep!), a comfy pair of jeans, and riding boots. This outfit is so versatile and whether I’m going to the airport, mall, out with friends or casual Friday, I know I’ll feel comfortable in this.

GPOY: “Today slightly sucks” edition
Bundled up in order to go to the Pharm. to pick up my RX for the sinus infection I just found out I have. Oh yeah, and that asthma thing? Yeah, I was prescribed an inhaler, too. To top it all off, my doctor said I need to eat more calories because of my high metabolism and exercising I am below the weight I should be at. I took that to mean I should model my eating regime after Michael Phelps. Yes?
Oh an this is my really awesome camera. I’ll post pictures from our holiday gala soon.
So I think I have decided on the Cannon Rebel t2i, though if anyone wants to try and convince me that the Nikon D3000 is better, feel free?
i’m cleaning the house right now. And by cleaning the house I mean scrolling through Tumblr.

This November, the nonprofit Office of Letters and Light will be bringing together the mightiest of novelists for an event that will define our generation forever.
I’m speaking, of course, of National Novel Writing Month. It’s a global writing challenge for which I’ll spend November (and portions of my sanity!) writing a 50,000-word book in just 30 days.
I’ve never ever ever attempted to write a novel before and I’m hoping my experiences in Prague will be just the thing to get me started!
In addition to my writerly duties, I’m raising money to help the Office of Letters. One cause I’m especailly passionate about: creative writing in schools. The money will go to help continue put on free creative writing programs for kids and adults in classrooms, communities, and libraries around the world.
Each and every dollar I raise will keep my spirits high as I write my way towards the realization of my creative dreams. More importantly, your contribution will help National Novel Writing Month and its Young Writers Program build a more engaged and inspiring world.
