Hi.
Anyone who knows anything about photography should tell me what lens i NEED to get for my trip to Europe (under $300ish?). I like taking macro shots, people, and will want some wide-ish shots of scenery/cities. It doesn’t have to do everything, but it has to do some of these really, really well. Note: I have an 18-55mm now.
PLEASE HELP?

But the bench was cold so I stood, my freezing hands tired from the day’s snow. I fumbled with my small iPod’s playlist to find a song to remind me of home or warmth or sun. When I hear those songs now mostly I think of Prague and sometimes I even think of this bench.

Camera suggestions?
I’m looking into purchasing a upgrade to my point and shoot. I would love to have a camera that would function as a great macro camera as well as the ability to capture landscapes (and the occasional outfit photo. Don’t act like you wouldn’t do the same. I see you all with you Rebel T3s in the mirror.) Possibly a foray into a low-end DSLR. I’m willing to spend a good amount of money if I can find a highly recommended camera that I can hold on to for years to come. So tumblr, any sage advice?
[EDIT: 400-600 dollar range? Let’s be honest, I do not need professional photos.]
